Dragon Towers sales to launch on Sunday, just days after Nakheel awarded the construction contract for the Dubai project
Master developer Nakheel has announced will begin selling apartments at Dragon Towers – its new, twin tower residential complex at Dubai’s Dragon City – on Sunday, with prices from AED449,000 ($122,200).
The news comes less than a week after Nakheel awarded the construction contract for the AED713 million project, the first residential component of the rapidly-expanding Dragon City community and the only high-rise development in the area.
Dragon Towers is connected to the world-famous Dragon Mart retail and trading hub. It comprises two 37-storey buildings each with 571 one- and two-bedroom apartments. There are also two floors of retail space, four parking levels and a six-floor podium level clubhouse with a 25-metre swimming pool, children’s pool, restaurant, gym and tennis court.
Due for completion in 2021, Dragon Towers is linked by a covered bridge to Dragon Mart and its 5,000 shops, services and amenities, including a 12-screen cinema, supermarket and numerous dining outlets.
Dragon Towers is a key component of Nakheel’s ongoing retail, hospitality and residential expansion at Dragon City, which currently comprises Dragon Mart 1 and 2 and an ibis Styles hotel.
A new showroom and car park complex and a Premier Inn hotel are in advanced stages of construction, with further expansions in the pipeline.
